Beat Schwegler
Beat is employed as an Architect for Microsoft EMEA. He has more than 13 years of experience in professional software development and architecture. For the last 3 years, his main focus was in the area of Service Orientation and Web Services.
Dave Thomas
Dave is an adjunct research professor at Carleton University, and the University of Queensland. He was the principal visionary and architect for IBM VisualAge Smalltalk and Java tools including the initial work on the Eclipse.org IDE.
Jimmy Nilsson
Jimmy has been working with system development for more than sixteen years. He has written numerous technical articles and is the author of ".NET Enterprise Design". He is currently writing "Applying DDD and Patterns".

With this aim in mind, we have placed significant emphasis in this year's technical program and tutorial selection on building scalable systems, service-oriented computing, improving test measurement and profiling capabilities, and continuously improving our understanding of how to organize our work to better learn from our experiences.
