Abstract:

Clojure is a relatively new functional programming language which can be advantageously used as an alternative to Java. It is a sophisticated, well-designed and coherent language that emphasizes simplicity and productivity.

This GeekNight will focus on the development experience with Clojure which, unlike many other languages, is interactive, exploratory and dynamic. This is both fun and productive. To illustrate the development experience in practice, we develop together a little app written 100% in Clojure.

During the GeekNight we will serve sandwiches and water
