Abstract:

There is probably no developer left who hasn't been exposed to at least one introduction to REST, and most have by now gathered some first-hand experience. After the world's shortest introduction to REST we'll dive into more advanced stuff, such as common misconceptions, hypermedia aspects, format/resource/representation alternatives, and implementation issues - with room for lots of questions (and hopefully, answers).

Speaker: Stefan Tilkov
 
Bio: Stefan is a founder and principal consultant at innoQ, where he spends his time alternating between advising customers on new technologies and taking the blame from his co-workers for doing so. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and has authored numerous articles and a (German) book on REST.
