We will also present what the reactive programming model in Spring 5 may look like.

"A Guided Tour of Spring Boot" by Andy Wilkinson

We'll go on a guided talk of Spring Boot, looking at how its convention-over-configuration approach can accelerate your development of Spring applications, including a discussion of some of the features that are new in Spring Boot 1.3 and how to get started. We'll also look at some of Boot's production-ready features that continue to make your life easier once development's complete.

Andy is a software developer on the Spring team at Pivotal where he works on Spring Boot, Spring REST Docs and the Spring IO Platform. When he's not working with server-side Java, Andy enjoys the different challenges presented by developing for iOS.
