"ElasticSearch: A Distributed Search Engine" by Shay Banon

Abstract
In this session we will cover ElasticSearch basic features, including its distributed nature, APIs usage, indexing and searching data, and driving analytics insights from the data. The session will be a full hands on session, no slides, driven by real life usage of ElasticSearch.

Short Bio
Shay Banon is founder of ElasticSearch, an open-source, distributed, RESTful, Search Engine. Previously, Shay was Director of Technology at GigaSpaces Technologies, a leading provider of a new generation of application platforms for Java and .NET environments. Shay also founded in 2004 the Compass project, an open-source Java Search Engine library built on top of Lucene.

Get the inside scoop how Atlassian captures feedback and incorporates it their agile software development process.

Short Bio
Andreas Knecht is a JIRA Team Lead, and has spent the past 5 years working from Atlassian's headquarters in Sydney. Since April 2012 he's relocated to the Atlassian Amsterdam office for 12 months, as part of Atlassian's "developer on support" program, providing customer support for JIRA and working on special support related projects.
