Usability Tests: What, how, when and why

Host: Janne Jul Jensen

When: 2. Apr 2014 at 16:30 - 18:30

Where: Trifork A/S, Margrethepladsen 4, 8000 Aarhus C

Abstract

Testing your design with the end users has always been the ultimate benchmark and seal of approval, when doing interaction design. But exactly which type of test should you use? And when should you test? And how do you handle it if your users aren’t on the same continent? Or in the same timezone? And if you don’t have access to actual endusers, how do you the recruit testers for your usability test? These and many more questions will be answered in this GOTO night, where numerous types of tests will be explained along with their pros and cons and an introduction to each test type.
